Open Farm Sunday: Gold Hill Organic Farm

Open Farm Sunday is your chance to discover the delights and abundance of organic agriculture right here in Child Okeford.

10am and 1pm - Farmer-led farm tours, to see (and taste!) the super-fresh vegetables.
11am - 1.30pm - National Trust leads a walk up Hambledon Hill looking at ‘Agriculture of the past’. Places are limited to 35, so please register your interest with us via phone or email, or arrive early!
2pm - 3pm - Forage Walk - hunt through the herbal history of our village’s footpaths and fields, finding edible treats along the way!
Throughout the day - Natural woodcraft demonstrations, Dorset Wildlife Trust activities for children, self-guided farm tours, machinery exhibitions, friendly animals and much more...

All entry is free, and donations to the National Trust’s maintenance of Hambledon Hill will be gratefully accepted.
