Welcome to the Dorset Sunflower Trail at Maiden Castle Farm, Dorchester
Join us this summer for an uplifting outdoor family experience at the Dorset Sunflower Trail as we raise funds for Dorset County Hospital Charity’s Emergency and Critical Care Appeal.

Our 20-acre trail has been planted just in time for the summer holidays. While we eagerly await Mother Nature’s timing, we'll confirm the exact opening dates closer to the event.

Sunflowers symbolise abundance, harvest, and health. Our trails and activities have been loved by thousands of visitors over the last four years.

Enjoy a leisurely walk through our stunning sunflower fields – walk takes approximately 40 minutes but naturally it depends on your walking speed.

A shorter, accessible route is available for those with mobility requirements.
