Save the date for Swanage’s fourth Music By The Sea memorial event.
The charitable live music festival, set up to celebrate the life of local Henry Searle who lost his seven-year battle with a brain tumour in 2021, will return this summer with an exciting line-up of artists.
Henry was a big music-lover and played himself in and around town – and now local acts and Henry’s family and friends come together each year along with many more supporters, playing for free to raise money for the local Swanage community.
There will be a bar and food stalls, as well as a raffle with some fantastic locally-donated prizes, making this a great family-friendly day out.
You’re welcome to bring your own picnic and drinks, but note that this is a plastic-free event.
Location – Prince Albert Gardens
Timings – 12pm – 8pm

Under 16s: Free (Children must be accompanied by an adult)

Catch a Crab
Crabbing is brilliant traditional family fun; you can spend hours sat on a harbour wall, ice cream in one hand, crabbing net in the other. Where are the best places to catch those crabs?
