  • Dirty Devil Stampede

Keeping the same format as last year we have on offer The Dirty Devil 5k Fun Run on the Saturday for families, youngsters and people wanting to try a mud run for the first time without the marauding hordes.....then Sunday's race will be split into two events, The Dirty Devil Stampede 10k and The Dirty Devil Double – yep, it’s the 21k’ish half marathon run for the more demanding and down right dirty runner!

Details
The Dirty Devil Stampede – 5k Fun Run –
For the first time in 2019 we were able to get permission for the junior members of the running community to be able to take part in this awesome event – SO LONG AS they are accompanied by a responsible adult or 2! or maybe 20 🙂

This will be a non-timed event enabling all members of the family to run around the muddy tank tracks and finish together covered in mud.

Anyone aged 15 and over can run around this event without the pressure of being timed and being lapped by the racing snakes- this will be an event for all who want an introduction to mud running in a relatively safe environment.

Minimum age for this event is 8 – children aged between 8 and 14 will need to twist the arm of a responsible adult (adult must be 18 or over) to enter this race. No Adult – No Race.

The Dirty Devil Stampede 10k and The Dirty Devil Double.
-terrain run of the new much longer 1 or 2 loop course takes you around the iconic location of the Bovington Tank training ground, land reserved for army training only to which we have secured the ultimate in mud running events in the South West.

Located just 1 mile away from the amazing Bovington Tank Museum and just a few miles away from Monkey World, there is plenty for the family to do while you get yourself tagged as one Dirty Devil.

The Dirty Devil Stampede is held over the Army’s vehicle testing tracks so expect it to be gritty and interesting! You encounter trails, hills, mud, a lot of water, the sheep dip and the knife edge! So what's not to like?

It’s tough, sure, but we know you wouldn’t like it any other way!

Come alone or badger some of your mates to get involved too, whatever you decided, we guarantee you will go away with a smile on your face and mud on your knees!

There are prizes for the top 3 Male and Female competitors.

Entries close when we sell out – and we will, so don’t delay. We’re sure you are tough enough – see you on the start line!

Venue: Bovington Tank Range, near Wareham
