Sandbanks

Over the years, Sandbanks has increasingly built a reputation for its wealth of high-end properties and restaurants. Money aside, Sandbanks is a massively popular destination for visitors thanks to its award winning beach, winning the BlueFlag award more times than any other beach in the UK.

Sandbanks

A relaxing day at one of the UK’s most beautiful beaches is one option, but there’s more. Explore the coast on a ferry trip, discover the local area on a mountain bike, challenge yourself at Sandbanks Watersports Academy, treat yourself to a fishing trip, take on your family and friends at crazy golf or watch the kids let off some steam in the children’s play area… There’s so much to offer.

All of this could be rounded off perfectly at the finest of local restaurants, where you’re sure to find some exquisite food and drink.

There’s lots of nearby places to visit too, you’ll find Brownsea Island and the towns of Poole and Bournemouth all within a short distance by car or public transport.

Parking at Sandbanks

A car park with over 500 spaces is located in the heart of Sandbanks, BH13 8QJ. Prices vary depending on the time of year, so please check the website for further details.

Public Transport

By train, the nearest station is Parkstone, and bus services also run to and from surrounding areas.

You can catch Buster's Beach Bus with Yellow Buses! This runs from Boscombe to Sandbanks and back, stopping at Boscombe Pier, East Cliff, Bournemouth Square, West Cliff, Alum Chime, Branksome Chine and Canford Cliffs. Seasons may affect this however, so please remember to check the webpage in advance.
