What to expect!
Thanks to funding from the Arts Development Company, Portland and Weymouth will see a host of events popping up throughout the two towns over 2025, providing visitors and locals with entertainment throughout the year.
The launch event planned for Portland is not to be missed taking place on 26th and 27th April (2pm – 7pm), a dynamic and bespoke sound and light installation – ‘State of Alarm’ by Mark Anderson and Liam Walsh. All will be revealed at the fascinating tunnels and chambers of the historic High Angle Battery – which has only just reopened after years of closure. Immerse yourselves in this remarkable site, a treat for all the senses.
The launch event for Weymouth kicks off with a celebratory party at St Nics that you wont want to miss! Featuring the vinyl van and guest DJs, the evening promises great sounds to get you on your feet. The Friendly Society of Artistic Labourer's will take over the gallery and create a inspiring space filled with music and art. Find St Nics at 11 St Nicholas Street, Weymouth - DT4 8AA.
